Indigents è un duo formato dal catalano Héctor O. aka Mindload e dal francese Stephane Kerandel aka Terrortank, attivo con la sua etichetta Spread The Disease, dove entrambi hanno già prodotto un buon numero di uscite con questo ed altri nomi in quel di Barcellona; forti del loro spirito sotterraneo e della devozione al rumore registrano questa cassetta pubblicata dalla nostrana Sincope. I due lunghi brani in questa C20, uno per lato, sparano fuori dal vostro stereo un magma sonoro rumoroso e inquietante a base di fischi, stridii e frequenze varie, producendo quel noise industriale che vira verso il kraut a botte di droni ed atmosfere allucinate. Decisamente Bottomless Sinking non è un disco che potrei definire rilassante, ma l'andamento ipnotico del rumore rende facile l'ascolto e il duo si dimostra avvezzo ad imbastire ambientazioni sonore interessanti.

Indigents are Stephane Kerandel (of Terrotank) and Hector O (of Mindload). They record jams in Barcelona straight to their tape or walkman, which is something that we hear loud and clear in the two pieces on this tape. Hard to say what they do. Scraping the barrel with an iron brush perhaps, amplifying it to get some additional distortion and there is the use of a primitive keyboard I should think. The two pieces seem to be culled from a combination of jam sessions, crudely stuck together. Quite industrial I should think and not entirely my cup of tea. But this is definitely the kind of music that fits the medium perfectly. There is no such thing as perfection around this lot. Its not bad for a noise release in as far it doesn't just howl around, which I guess is a winning situation to start with.
